Halloween Activities and Preschool

We had a lot of fun! We painted pumpkins, the girls made a handprint spider and bat, dressed up and went trick or treating!

Preschool : A Simple Picnic

For Preschool Bella wanted to go on a picnic. In my mind I thought about how nice and simple it would be to have a picnic. Bella helped me pack the basket with some food and drinks and we walked over to the park. Nothing is simple when you expect it to be.
As we walked through the grass, a bee flew up my dress and stung me on the ribs. I flailed and pretty much ripped off my dress to get it out. Luckily nobody was outside or there would have been a lot of exposure.

After we ate our sandwiches, we walked toward the playground. Someone had let their dog poo right on the sidewalk in front of this Dog Duty Station and my little one stepped in it. Thanks a lot!

We had to head home early to clean up poop and put ice on a bee sting. It was a fun ten or so minutes though!

Preschool : Halloween Window Silhouettes

Bella's Goblin

We bought black poster board from the Dollar Tree and then drew monsters on it, cut them out, and taped them in the window.

Preschool Balance Activity : Egg and Spoon Race

On your mark. Get set. GO!

Put and egg on a spoon and try to get to the finish line first without dropping or breaking your egg.

Little one was very careful with her egg too
Just a simple and fun game that helps them have fun and learn at the same time.

Preschool : Nature Walk

For our preschool today we went on a nature walk and collected things to make a Fall Wreath. My 4 year old kept saying she wanted to pick things up to add to our "coral reef" hahaha!
We saw a lizard and the girls were really excited about it. Also an unwanted friend snuck into the house with us. Yucky!

We hung their wreaths outside on the patio gate.

My favorite part is the beer bottle cap.... just part of the military housing ecosystem...
