Idea #8: Wear Waterproof Mascara!!!

My husband's homecoming is in less than three weeks! I feel like I hardly have time left to get the house ready, make all the welcome home signs, Get Bella's outfit put together, and get something perfect for me to wear and figure out what to do with my hair and makeup! I am SO happy this first deployment is almost over. Hopefully they learned many things and experienced lots of different cultures and come back more mature and wise..... yeah right! Marines never grow up! lol. Oh well either way I just want him home!

Babe's Bowtique

I got a super cute bandana dress for super cheap at Babe's Bowtique! I'm pretty sure they have a website but it most of it sells on Facebook as soon as she posts a picture. It's hard to even get anything because it sells instantly!

I have been looking at this shop every day for months and I finally broke down and bought a couple of things. I bought the MULTI COLOR TODDLER PETTI ROMPER and the light pink pettipants from Chic Baby Rose on etsy. You must go look at this shop. You will want EVERYTHING for your little girl. These are just some pictures I took but they I can't wait to have professional pictures done!

Bella's Bedroom

I finally got Bella's room back together after we moved. It is elephant themed with combinations of bright colors and brown.

I did find a camel spider on the wall yesterday....but other than that.....

Little Swimmers

In the evenings here the swamp coolers can't keep up so pretty much all you can do is sit in the pool and die of heat stroke. Swimming and BBQ's are pretty much the only things to do in 29 Palms. Here is Bella swimming with her boyfriend Preston and her friend Maddie (Preston's other girlfriend lol.) She wouldn't stop attacking him. Poor Maddie always gets trampled and splashed. She will catch up real quick though! These three are gonna be such trouble makers!!! Bella is such a rascal! See the pictures where she is tackling poor Preston?!

Deployed Romance Idea #7

Idea #7 : Get him a laptop! Do it!

I sent Kelley a small laptop with a webcam a couple months ago. I REALLY wish I would have done it sooner in his deployment because we hardly ever got a chance to talk until he had his own laptop. It is definitely worth it. He always had to borrow someone else's computer or wait in looooooooooooong lines at payphones or the library and had time limits or buy phone cards that didn't work half the time and cost a million dollars. We skype all the time and he gets to see little Bella and Bella gets to see him. I would recommend using Skype or Yahoo messenger. Yahoo has video chatting and he can text your phone from his computer if you aren't at home so you can still talk throughout the day. These are things I wish I would have known sooner! Here are some snapshots I took while Skypeing with him. : )

Back in 29 Palms

We have been back in 29 Palms for a couple weeks now and we are just enjoying the warm weather. (a little too warm) Bella loves going to the pool and she swims with her friends Preston and Maddie. She could probably live in the pool if I let her. We are just hanging out waiting for her Daddy to get home next month. Almost done!
